MASS WHALE STRANDINGS CAUSED BY METEOROIDS AND METEOR SHOWERS. After looking at historical data and what is happening in New Zealand, probably, King Island, Flinders Island and the east coast of Tasmania could see a mass stranding of cetaceans. This is due to the heavy meteoroid activity in New Zealand. Even though I am unable to back up this with current hard data, historically Tasmania has seen strandings in the above locations when New Zealand has an incident on the northeast coastline.
