Pulse Strandings in Germany after Meteor Activity

2025, May 12. Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, St. Peter-Ording. A Humpback whale 10 meters long, and the cause of its death is still unknown. This is the third stranding in the region. A 14-meter cachalot (sperm whale) was found on the island of Sylt, and then a younger and emaciated humpback whale was found on the island of Minzener-Oog. In February 2024 there was a pulse of strandings that came after fireball activity. This has played out the same way as in Denmark and Norway.
