2025, August 17 and 18. Antigua and Barbuda, Caribbean. Two mass strandings of Pantropical spotted dolphins. The first occurrence took place on Jolly Beach, on the west side of Antigua, where five Pantropical spotted dolphins attempted to beach themselves several times. The second was in Barbuda 30 miles away. Up to 12 Pantropical spotted dolphins stranded on rocks, some of which were upside down, eventually swam offshore.
