2026, June 11. Namibia, Etosha Pan, Etosha National Park. Airburst. Overland. Time: 02:00:58UT. Coordinates: (18.7S;16.1E). Altitude: 33.0 km/s. Energy: e = 3.2e10, -e = 0.11 or 110,000 kg/TNT. Velocity Components: NA.

There have been meteor reports in South Africa from eMalahleni, in the north, to Cape Town. 

Perfect place to locate meteorites.

2026, June 14. South China Sea, Seen in Brunei (Lambak to Sungai Akar) and Malaysia. A bright emerald green fireball lit up sky. Time: 8:33 PM. Duration 7 seconds and travelling NNW.

2026, June 16. South Africa, Zululand coastline, in the vicinity of 9 Mile Beach north of Sodwana Bay, within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. A large dead humpback whale washed ashore.

2026, June 16. USA, Washington. Two decomposed gray whales washed ashore, one near Moclips and another near Quinault Reservation.

2026, June 17. USA, Washington, Ocean Shores. Gray whale washed ashore.  

2026, June 17. USA, Oregon. Del Rey Beach State Park, just south of Del Ray approach north of Gearhart. A gray whale washed ashore.
