Between January 1st and June 15th, the North Atlantic acoustic monitors picked up 15068 definite whale detections that included Right, Fin, Blue, Sei and Humpback. On the 30th of May the Cape Cod meteor airburst event occurred. On this day, and the next, only 4 data points were detected. The 31st of June was the lowest data point for the year to date.
